European Resuscitation Academy 2017

Based on the original Resuscitation Academy in Seattle this seminar is aimed at improving out of hospital cardiac arrest resuscitation outcomes.  This event introduces leaders in OHCA to the 10 Programs for Improvement including establishing a registry, telephone CPR, high-performance CPR and more.

Survival from out-of-hospital ventricular fibrillation cardiac arrest is extremely variable throughout the World with high survival rates of 62% in Seattle and King County Washington, and low survival rates in other major countries. Most communities have no idea how they are performing in terms of managing sudden cardiac arrest. Why is this? There are answers. As proven in Seattle and King County,  we can learn the steps they need to take to improve survival.
